DETERMINATION OF DIMENSION AND TOLERANCE OF BRICKS
APPARATUS
Ø  Tape
SPECIMEN
One number of whole bricks from each samples collected for testing should be taken.
PROCEDURE
Ø  Twenty whole bricks shall be selected at random from the sample selected.
Ø  All blisters, loose particles of clay and small projections shall be removed.
Ø  The overall length of the assembled bricks shall be measured with a steel tape or other suitable inextensible measure sufficiently long to measure the whole row at one stretch.
Ø  Measurement by repeated application of short rule or measure shall not be permitted.
Ø  Measurement is taken by mean of length wise, width wise and Height wise
